Debbie Curwen

As one of the founding members of a Clean Sweep Co-operative Ltd, believed to be the first company in the UK to be run entirely  by people with learning disabilities, Debbie possessed an impressive work history as Director, Company secretary and employee and was influential in the development of employment initiatives in Bristol for over 20 years.
 
As an experienced public speaker, Debbie previously established Conference Voice the training arm of Clean Sweep.  Although sadly no longer with us, Debbie's message was always clear - work is both beneficial and achievable and with the right support people with learning disabilities can and do make great employees.
